The Opti-Soothe® Moist Heat Mask utilises advanced technology that absorbs moisture from the air and releases a natural, constant moist heat to provide soothing, effective relief from Dry Eye and related conditions (including Blepharitis and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), Chalazion (eyelid cysts) and Styes.

Easy to use with 25 seconds in the microwave delivering 10 minutes of constant moist heat. Soft and comfortable to wear, the Optisoothe Moist Heat Mask is also washable and reusable.

Also suitable for cold therapy to aid in reducing eye allergy  symptoms of eye allergies, eye puffiness, and irritation from contact lens wear.

Directions

Heat the Opti-Soothe® Moist Heat Mask for 25 seconds in a 800W microwave on maximum power, or up to 15 seconds in a 900W+ microwave. Always check the temperature first before placing on closed eyes. If necessary, allow to cool for 1 minute then check for temperature again before wearing. If further heat is needed, then microwave for another 5 seconds.

For cold therapy use: seal the mask in a plastic bag in the freezer for 30 minutes, then wear over closed eyes for 5-7 minutes.

Do not heat for more than 30 seconds. The mask will stay hot for 10 minutes; if used again within 30 minutes, shorten the heating time by 10 seconds. For optimal results, apply the heated mask to closed eyes for 10 minutes each time, or as advised by your eye care professional.

Usage Advice

Wash straight away if exposed to food, oils, grease or other dirt. Wash by hand only using a mild detergent in cooled, boiled water or clean bottled water. After washing, allow to dry in the air for 24 hours (minimum) before further use.

Avoid using if you have: poor circulation, difficulty feeling sensation, diabetes, after recent eye surgery, or if you have a medical condition affecting the eyes or the skin around the eyes. Do not swallow mask contents. If symptoms persist or worsen, see your healthcare professional. Check your mask regularly and dispose if it is worn or damaged. The mask's head straps contain latex.
